Best Photography of 2012

On most photoblogs a yearly recap has popped up within the past day or two–so here’s my take on the trend. Most of the following pics are from my two week trip to China in July and August. On some I am proud of composition and color, content and dichotomy. Others simply evoke humor. All are reflections from the lens that is (my) life.

Of note, most are from my Canon T3i with the kit lens 18-55mm. A few are from a friend’s iphone–those who know me know that I will never, under any circumstances adopt “smartphone” technology–it only serves to make you dumber. One picture was taken at the glorious hands of the Canon 5D. On photos where I do not get photo-credit, the picture-taker will be listed–with my only contributions being iphoto post-work/color correction.
