Just wanted to share some macro(esque) photography from the birthday flowers that came rolling in a couple weeks ago….
…Spoiler alert: OneLens added a Canon Telephoto 55-250mm EF-S mount lens this holiday season! Fear not: I will keep the blog theme completely intact.
All the following photos were shot indoors with my kit 18-55mm lens.
All color correction done in iPhoto: dropped contrast and mid-tones. Bumped up exposure and saturation (slightly–to 55)..Shot with Auto WB and flash in my living room-ISO 400–fine color control during post work extremely finite–but that’s to be expected with flash photography and auto-settings.iPhoto post-work: RAW file. ISO 400. AWB and flash photography. f/5 1/60White Balance: Incandescent. Flash mode. Saturation actually dropped to 26% with color temp cheated cooler and black-balance crushed. I’m usually not a fan of such Warhol-esque adjustments, but I just kinda went with it on this one. Thoughts?
