Intersection of Washington St and Davis in San Francisco, CA. Within walking distance of Pier 3 and Market Street. Canon T3i. Sigma 10-20mm, f/4Windblow, even on a gorgeous day. Elevated 227 meters above the San Francisco Bay, and with a steady stream of freeway traffic passing on your left, I recommend wearing layers! As you can probably guess, had the iris all the way open on my Sigma 10-20mm lens-shot on my Canon T3i. Was somewhere in the 630p-730p range to begin capturing the sunset over the bay. Thought it was a unique way to “frame” the picture. Slowly convincing myself to invest in Lightroom so I could more effectively bring down the highlights in this picture.Framed near Pier 1/2 and Pier 3 in San Francisco. Started my trek at the intersection of Market Street, O’Farrell and Ellis. With photography stops took me about 45 minutes to reach the waters edge.Would have preferred to get some birds-eye views of the area-just to change up my photo repertoire, but traveling on foot in an unknown area only affords so many opportunities. Still proud of my intuition-based navigation skills.Taken from the O’Farrell and Ellis street garage. Parking is cheap! Think I paid $3 for the 2 hours I was out exploring. As a native New Englander, where parking meters run 25 cents for a mere 15 minutes, the garages were a spectacular alternative to on-street parking. Canon T3i, Sigma 10-20mm, ISO 100, f/5.6, 1/100
