OneLens in Chongqing, Yangtze, and Shanghai

Chongqing: City of +30 million where our Yangtze cruise was supposed to depart from. Due to flooding, the Grand Theater was where we boarded buses to head 200km downstream to catch our boat.

Since construction began on the Three Gorges Damn, water levels along the famous Three Gorges has risen over 150m. Views were great, but sailing through 150m shallower would have just been stunning.

Tweaked in iphoto, but still a semi-decent depiction of the ever-present China haze/air pollution. Yum.

When I noticed this cool reflection, my brain went into “artsy” mode. (Yes, I’m deliberately working on my posture in this picture)
